Zo Ann Jackson Moore

Zo Ann Jackson Moore, age 53, formerly of the Hammond area, and more recently of 612 Heylman, Fort Scott, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at her home following a cancer illness. She was born Sept. 28, 1954, in Nevada, Mo., the daughter of Willis Jackson and Naoma Bell White Jackson.

She was a 1972 graduate of Prescott High School. She attended Fort Scott Community College. She was first married to Donald Casida. They later divorced. She married Donnie Moore on Sept. 29, 2006. Zo was employed in customer service at Ennis Business Forms at the time of her illness. She was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included "stamping up," a way of making various greeting cards.

Survivors include her husband, Donnie, of the home; three sons, Daniel Casida, Prescott, Bradley J. Casida and wife Jonna and Derek Casida, all of Fort Scott; and one daughter, Kelli Dawn Goodman and husband Daniel, Emporia, Kan. Also surviving are two sisters, Mary Alice Jeserick and husband Jack, LaCygne, Kan., and Willa Mae Jones and husband Paul, Olathe, Kan.; sister-in-law, Pat Oakes; brother-in-law, Michael Olson; and four grandchildren, Larry "Hoot" Nadeau, Kaleb Goodman, Jackson Goodman and Adrianna Casida. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bradley Jackson, and mother-in-law, Virgia Moore.

The Rev. Vida Williams will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the West Liberty Church. Burial will follow in Prescott Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorials are suggested to Harry Hines Hospice and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O.
