FSCC Aggie Days event Friday

Fort Scott Community College will host the 27th Annual Aggie Days competition on Friday.

The competition is one of the largest and longest running agricultural competitions in the region. More than 1,400 students representing more than 100 area high schools are expected to compete in several categories, including livestock, meat, dairy foods, poultry, floriculture, nursery landscape, entomology, speech, farm business management, agronomy, food science and land judging.

Registration for the event begins at 7:30 a.m. Friday, with most competitions starting at 8:45 a.m. Event results and awards will be presented at 3 p.m.
