At 1:35 a.m. March 24, Crawford County deputies and the Baker Fire Dept. were dispatched to hay bails on fire about one-half mile south of 570 Ave. on 200th St. in Crawford County. The owner of the hay, C.L. Farabi, lost 40 bails worth $3,500. While searching the area, a deputy found a second hay fire approximately a mile north of the first fire. The owner of those bails, Kenneth Biancarelli, lost 30 bails worth $750. The incident is under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff's Department.
