Bronson Chapter, OES members gather Feb. 13

The Bronson Chapter of the Eastern Star met Wednesday evening, Feb. 13 for their regular meeting with Worthy Matron Geri Reeder and Worthy Patron Louis Pool in the east. There were 16 members present at the meeting. Those in attendance were pleased to welcome guest Elsie Fae Weast to the meeting again.

At the meeting, Reeder read a verse entitled "Love is an Attitude." Also, several introductions were made including Julia Ann Rhoton, Special Page to Janice Olson; Grand Ruth and Tom Johnson, Excellent High Priest from Iola Chapter 8, Iola Royal Arch Masons.

Reeder reported to those gathered that her mother had injured her leg and has been in the hospital for nine days. Anyone who wishes to send Reeder's mother get well greetings may send them to Hazel Wolford in care of the Wheat State Manor at 601 South Main, Whitewater, KS 67154.

Associate Patron Glenn Smith and his wife Retta are currently waiting on news from Tricha to see how she is doing. Also, their daughter Arlene is fighting an infection.

Pool delivered a closing thought to those gathered.

"It is hard to do the wrong thing right," he said.

Pool and Ednamarie Jackson served refreshments of chocolate cup cakes and angel food cake with frozen peaches and coffee. Bonita Holeman also helped serve.
