Jack C. Dunn, age 66, resident of Monroe, Ark. died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at Ada, Okla. following a stroke illness. He was born Aug. 5, 1941, near Fort Scott, Kan. the son of Clarence C. Dunn and Nema Mae Comstock Dunn. He attended the Fort Scott schools. Jack moved to the Fittstown, Okla. area in 1972 from Burlington, Kan. He was the retired owner of Dunn's Fish Farms of Fittstown, Okla. and later Monroe, Ark.

Survivors include three sons, Keith Dunn, Claremore, Okla., David Dunn and wife Megan, Fittstown and Kevin Dunn, Edmund, Okla.., two daughters, Lisa Phillips and husband Randall, Fittstown and Karen Findley and husband Brent, Claremore. Also surviving is a brother, Bill Dunn and wife Jay, Fort Scott, 12 grandchildren, Megan Pentkowski, Lauren Pentkowski, Just Alsept, Tyler Duncan, Dallas Dunn, Austin Dunn, Spencer Phillips, McKenzie Phillips, Chevon Dill, Jordan Dill, David Dunn and Chloe Dunn; one niece Rhonda Dunn and one nephew, Mike Dunn, both of Fort Scott. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Gary Dunn.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Marmaton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Cheney Witt Chapel. Services are under the direction of Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main.
