Anderson County Class 4A Sub-State.
On the boys' side Ottawa (14-5) secured the No. 1 seed by beating Eudora at home. Tuesday night Meanwhile, Louisburg's loss at Lenexa St. James allowed idle Fort Scott (13-6) to take the No. 2 seed. Louisburg (12-7) settled for the No. 3 seed.
Burlington (12-8) is the No. 4 seed with Anderson County (10-10) at No. 5 seed despite losing to Osawatomie (9-10) in a Pioneer League game Tuesday night.
Osawatomie is the No. 6 seed, Paola (4-15) beat out Prairie View (4-15) for the No. 7 seed on a coin toss, as the two didn't play each other in the regular season.
Tuesday's first-round matches have Paola at Fort Scott and Osawatomie at Louisburg in the bottom half of the bracket. In the top half, Prairie View is at Ottawa and Anderson County visits Burlington.
Louisburg (16-3), a Tuesday winner at St. James, had already secured the top girls' seed. Fort Scott (14-5) was locked in as No. 2 while Burlington (14-6) would have been No. 3 even if it had lost to Yates Center.
Ottawa's loss to Eudora didn't cost it a home game as it was able to beat out Anderson County (10-10) for the No. 4 seed by having one less loss (10-9).
Osawatomie's (9-10) Tuesday loss to Anderson County cost it a chance for the No. 6 seed over Paola (9-10), which was idle. Paola won the tiebreaker because it defeated Osawatomie during the regular season.
Prairie View (3-16), a loser to Jayhawk-Linn Tuesday night, is the No. 8 seed.
Fort Scott's girls host Osawatomie Monday night while Paola visits Burlington in lower bracket games. On the top side, Anderson County goes to Ottawa and Prairie View visits Louisburg.

In the upper half of that boys' bracket, No. 8 Eureka (0-19) travels to No. 1 Northern Heights (16-2) and No. 5 Wellsville (9-11) will face Pioneer League foe and fourth-seeded Central Heights (9-10).

The Uniontown-Marmaton Valley winner will face the winner of the game between No. 8 Yates Center (2-18) and No. 1 Pittsburg Colgan (13-5). The Pleasanton-Oswego victor will advance to face the winner of the contest between No. 7 Northeast-Arma (3-17) and No. 2 Humboldt (10-10).
