John Leon Pearson, Jr., a boy, was born at 11:41 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008 at Mercy Health Center to parents Christena Mapes and John Pearson, Fort Scott. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces at birth. He joins three siblings; Brooklyn Miller, Jacob Pearson, and Caleb Pearson.
