"This is one we let get away," Uniontown head coach Ken Holt said. "We had too many mistakes at critical times and they took advantage. We just have to get ready for Marmaton Valley on Friday."
Riley Stephens scored 16 points for Uniontown (0-4 TRL, 3-11 overall) but no other Eagle had more than five.
Alyssa Ballard paced a balanced Chetopa attack with eight points. She was one of six players to score at least six points for the Hornets (1-2, 3-11), who gained their first victory as a league member.
