David Lewis, Kate and Sofe, Overland Park, Kan., visited with his grandmother, Marjorie Lewis, Thursday, Dec. 20.
Ron, Linda and James Center traveled to the Kansas City airport to meet their grandson. Grant who flew in from Arizona, and their son, Bitt and Laurie Center, Lolo, Mont., Thursday evening, Dec. 20.
Wednesday, Dec. 12, Wayne and Marge Stringer attended a family dinner at the home of her brother, Dale and Iris VanMeter in Thayer.
Saturday evening, Dec. 22, James Center suffered a concussion. He was taken to Mercy Health Center emergency room where he received excellent treatment. His nurse, Jessie, and Dr. Galvin were wonderful with him, as were the nurse, Susan, and both aids when he was admitted to the hospital. He is doing great now, and his family would like to thank everyone who had a part in his care while in the hospital.
Wayne and Marge Stringer enjoyed having Wayne and Ruth VanMeter, Parkville; Phyllis and Howard Johnson, Bartlesville; and Shirley Powers, Thayer; visit with them recently.
Christmas Day, Carol and Ray Carter, Nathan and Patrick, Lenexa, spent Christmas Day and the day after Christmas with her parents, Carney and Estalee Simpson.
Ronette Center hosted a family dinner Christmas Eve for the following, Bill and Laurie Center, Lolo, Mont.; Grant Center, Ariz.; Jake Collins, Kelsie Jo and Lindsey Center, Scott and James Center, June Hereford, and Ron and Linda Center.
Marjorie Lewis had her family for the annual gift exchange and breakfast Christmas morning. They had ham, eggs, biscuits, oleo, apple butter, strawberry preserves, orange juice, coffee and cinnamon rolls. Present were, Beverly and Larry Peel, Doug and Kim Harris and Hannah, Mr. And Mrs. Nick Harris, Mr. And Mrs. Ron Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lewis, Lisa and Taelor, Mr. And Mrs. Brad Peel, Leesa, Loran, Dillon and Brady, Kitty, Maureen, Aimee and Lindsey Lewis, Tiffany Lewis and her friend Tommie Cusick, Kansas City. Everyone had a wonderful time, and enjoyed visiting and picture taking. Saturday, Dec. 29, Janet and Mike Keefer and Matthew, and Carol Carter, all of Lenexa, had a belated Christmas with Janet and Carol's parents, Carney and Estalee Simpson.
Marjorie Lewis went to her daughter's, Beverly and Larry Peels, for supper Christmas night. She had ham, turkey, celery, olives and pumpkin pie with whipped topping and ice tea or lemonade. Present also were Mr. and Mrs. Doug Harris, Hannah Harris, Lonnie Mengarelle, and Mr. And Mrs. Nick Harris, all of Hepler; Mr. And Mrs. Brad Peel, Leesa, Loran, Dillon and Brady.

Her mother, Marjorie Lewis, treated Beverly and Larry Peel to a belated birthday supper, Thursday evening.
Erma Patterson, Atlanta, Ga., visited with Camey and Estalee Simpson while visiting family here over the Christmas holiday.

Thursday, Dec. 27, Ron and Linda Center hosted a family dinner for several family members. Everyone enjoyed visiting and talking about all they had done for the Christmas holiday.
Mr. And Mrs. David Lewis, Matty, Kate and Sofe, Fayetteville, Ark., visited David's parents, Bill and Ruth Lewis on Friday, Jan. 4, for their belated Christmas and delicious dinner of spaghetti, hot bread, corn and pumpkin pie, Joining them for the meal and the gift exchange afterward were Lisa and Taelor Lewis, and Marjorie Lewis.
Tuesday, Jan. 1, Ron, Linda and James Center returned Bill and Laurie Center to the Kansas City airport, as they were returning home. Ron, Linda and James visited with Linda's cousins, Jackie Hereford and Dixie Malcolm in Belton, Mo.
Linda Center received word of the death of her cousin, Sharon Lamb Henry, Danville, Ill., Dec. 19. Sharon was the daughter of, Don and Wanda Hartman also of Danville.
