Thanks to those who made Lady Elks' Santa visit possible

To the Editor,

The Fort Scott Ladies of the Elk held their annual Children's Christmas Party on Dec. 16, 2007 at the Elks Lodge. There were 54 children and their parents in attendance. The children and their parents were treated to lunch, pictures were taken, and treats were handed out by Amy Boyd. Santa arrived to a room full of very excited children and passed out gifts. Drawings were held for a tricycle, two 20-inch bicycles and two 26-inch bicycles.

I would like to thank the following people for their help and donations that made this possible. I would also like to thank Lorence Weddle for his help collecting the donations for the Ladies of the Elk:
