Fort Scott Police officers Wednesday arrested 18-year-old Breonna Martinez and a juvenile while serving a narcotics search warrant at 608 S. Holbrook St.

Martinez was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana, contributing to child misconduct and endangerment, and sale of narcotics within 1,000 feet of a school. She is still being held at Southeast Kansas Regional Correctional Center on no bond.

At 8 a.m. Wednesday, 10 officers entered the residence and searched the house, detaining four adults and an unnamed 17-year-old juvenile.

Only Martinez and the juvenile were arrested. Also, a minor child was taken into police protective custody as a result of the incident.

An exact amount of marijuana wasn't determined.

Charges on the 17-year-old were undetermined. His name was not disclosed by police. He was handed over to juvenile intake authorities.

The search warrant stemmed from an on-going narcotics investigation by FSPD detectives.
