Claudia Ann Harrison, age 71, a former resident of Bronson, Kansas, and more recently of Mohave Valley, Arizona, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at the Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was born March 5, 1936 in Bronson, Kansas, the daughter of Claude I. Welch and Vera Dawson Welch. She married Elvis Harrison on Oct. 13, 1956, in Topeka, Kansas.
Survivors include her husband, Elvis, of the home; a son, Tony Harrison, and wife, Jacquie, of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; a daughter, Lori Taylor, and husband, Brad, Willows, Calif.; three grandchildren, Heather Taylor, Holly Dickerson, and Jeff Taylor. Also surviving are her step-mother, Peggy Welch, and two step-brothers, George Welch and Gary Welch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Welch, and a sister, Patricia Smalley.
The Rev. Jared Witt will conduct graveside services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at the Bronson Cemetery. Family and friends may meet Saturday at the Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel prior to leaving for the cemetery.
