Mary Frances Weston, age 76, a resident of rural Moran, Kansas, died early Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at the Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas.
She was born August 31, 1931, near Bronson, Kansas, the daughter of Austin C. Holeman and Eunice Colwell Holeman. She was a graduate of the Bronson High School.
She married Paul "P.D." Weston on April 28, 1951, at the Dry Ridge Baptist Church north of Uniontown.
Mrs. Weston had worked as a teller at both the City State Bank in Fort Scott and later the Kincaid Bank. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. She also raised Siamese cats.
Survivors include her husband, Paul "P.D." Weston, of the home; a daughter, Linda Clayborn and husband, Dennis, Fort Scott, Kansas; a son, Bill Weston and wife, Karen, Gardner, Kansas; a daughter-in-law, Ann Weston, Moran, Kansas.
Also surviving is a brother, Colwell Holeman and wife, Hope, Bronson, Kansas; two nephews, Bob Holeman, Joplin, Missouri and Bill Holeman, Bronson, Kansas; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Don Weston and a niece Peggy Holeman.
The Rev. Steven Paul will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2007, at the Bronson United Methodist Church.
Burial will follow in the Bronson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel.
