Robert L. Ely, 89, of Mound City, Kansas, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 22, 2007.

Memorial funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday October 29, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Mound City, Kansas. Inurnment will be at 1:30 PM Monday October 29, 2007 at the Fort Scott National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 PM Sunday October 28 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Mound City. The family suggests contributions to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
