Gunelia Pulliam, 85, of Liberal, Mo., died at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at St. Johnâ€™s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.
Mrs. Pulliam was born Sept. 4, 1922, at Englevale, Kan., the daughter of William and Edna Farmer Dunbar. Gunelia was a farm wife and homemaker who lived in the Liberal area most of her life. She was raised in Crawford County and attended Girard schools.
She married Robert B. â€śBobâ€ť Pulliam on April 24, 1940, in Girard, Kan. Mr. Pulliam preceded her in death Nov. 26, 2003.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Pulliam of Arma and Charles Pulliam of Weir; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Gunelia was preceded in death by six sisters, Grace Martinous, Lillie Zimmerman, Mae Spencer, Barbara Dunbar, Sally Mayberry, and June Bower, and two brothers, George and Jesse Dunbar.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma with the Rev. Chuck Kallaus officiating.
Burial will be at the Shiloh Cemetery at Oskaloosa, Mo. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Bedene Chapel in Arma.
