Tiger junior varsity wins big

Fort Scott High's junior varsity football team drubbed Independence, 286, at Frary Field Monday night.

Mitchell Stoughton rushed for a firstquarter touchdown to give the Tigers the initial lead from 69 yards out and caught two touchdown passes from quarterback Aaron Judy. The first was a 32yard play in the second quarter and the other was a 66yard connection in the third.

Chris Archie ran in from one yard out for the Tigers' final score in the fourth quarter.

Stoughton rushed for 104 yards and caught passes for 98.

Judy passed for 155 yards. Evan Williams caught two passes for 53 yards.

The freshmen also played but suffered a 120 loss to Independence.

Both teams host Iola Monday.
