Survivors include his wife, Laura, of the home; three sons, Dennis Krebs and wife, Theresa, Overland Park, Kansas, William Edward Krebs and wife, Donna, Fort Scott, Kansas, and Glen James Krebs, and wife, Kellie, Fort Scott; a daughter, Susan Diane Kent and husband, Dave, Negaunee, Michigan; nine grandchildren, Jason Krebs, Melissa Krebs, Brad Kent, Breanne Kent, Brandon Krebs, Sherri Krebs, Alexander Krebs, and Mollie Krebs. Also surviving are several cousins and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife.
Rev. Paul Babcock will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery north of Fulton, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Cheney Witt Chapel. The family will also receive friends one hour prior to service time on Wednesday. Memorials are suggested to the Fort Scott Manor Activity Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
