Roy Dee VanSlyke, 96, Amsterdam, Mo., was born Sept. 9, 1911 near Windsor, Mo. He departed this life on Sept. 9, 2007 at the Adrian Manor in Adrian, Mo.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007 at the Amsterdam United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Scott Cemetery.
