Wellington family reunion

The annual family reunion, descendants of Thomas and Martha (Patterson) Wellington, was held Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007 at the Buck Run Community Center, Fort Scott. Attending were Fern Wratchford, Jonnie Aydelotte, Chris and Dawn Lamb, Mason, Gage and Natalie, Irene Brillhart, Margaret Needham, Merle and Erla Mae Casner from Fort Scott. Keith and Lea Casner, Justin, Raef and Evan from Iola, Fay Wellington, Walt and Linda Lewis, Ray and Lisa Bruntmyer and family all from Independence, Mo. George and Sue Sackett from Olathe, Mel and Mary Lee Wellington, from Erie, Don and Mary Ann Jones, Debbie Frankes from Girard, Mark and Alice Wellington, Ryan and Ben, Mike and Becky Wellington and daughter, Joe and Betty Wellington from Edmond, Okla.

A carry in dinner was enjoyed by all. Correspondences were read from those that could not attend. Group pictures were taken by Alice Wellington.

The next reunion is scheduled for the fourth Sunday of August 2008.
