Susie Wiggans, 94, resident of Bronson, Kan., died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007 at the Mercy Health Center. She was born Sept. 28, 1912 in Dadeville, Mo., the daughter of Thomas William Gray and Martha Ellen Stewart Gray. She married Henry Coulter on May 24, 1927 at Greenfield, Mo. He died in a truck accident on Jan. 30, 1959. She then married Russell Wiggans. He preceded her in death. Susie worked as a cafe waitress. Her hobbies include quilting and playing bingo.
Survivors include a son, John Coulter, Bronson, Kan; a daughter, Dorothy Faye Fleeman, Fort Scott; two sisters, Maxine Meade, Fall River, Kan., and Dolly Fite, Lockwood, Mo. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; and 29 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sister.
The Rev. Jared Witt will conduct graveside services at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Greenfield, Missouri Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel from 2 - 8 p.m. Wednesday. Services are under the direction of the Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel, 501 Pine, Bronson, Kan.
