The wedding on Sept. 23, 2006, was held at the Countryside Christian Church, 1901 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, Kan. The officiating minister at the ceremony was Dan Muter and musician Carolyn Tucker.
Garlands of Shasta and Gerber daisies in red, white, yellow, purple and orange decorated the church and were elegantly placed in the bouquet of the bride and her attendants.
The bride wore a gown made of white chiffon and trimmed with daisies. Her bridal veil was chapel length and also trimmed in daisies.
The bride's attendants, sister-of-the-bride Cindy Decker of Pittsburg, Kan., as the matron of honor, Kristy Rameriz, of Pittsburg, and Sachie Haneline, Orlando, all wore two-piece, floor-length, navy blue dresses with glitter and back swag accent. The dresses were fashioned by the bride's mother. Each attendant carried a single Gerber daisy.
The flower girl was cousin-of-the-bride Kenna Schmidt, Hamilton, Kan.
The ring bearer was son-of-the-groom Travis Ward.
The best man was brother-in-law to the groom Mike Vaillaincourt, of Indian Trails, N.C.
Ushers included Chris Lindsey, of Olathe, and Troy Pease, of Girard.
Sister-of-the-bride Linda Faith, Topeka, was the guest book attendant, and gift table attendants were Evan and Zachary Scott, Parsons, Kan.
The reception was held at the Countryside Christian Church Annex in Pittsburg.
A reception, following the ceremony, featured a four-tiered wedding cake.
The couple's future plans include residing in Parsons.
