Jonne Dee Carpenter, 82, resident of Kansas City, Mo., died of complications resulting from Alzheimer's on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at the Seasons Care Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Jonne was born Aug. 14, 1925, in Rich Hill, Mo. Graveside funeral services for Jonne Carpenter will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Scott.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 10 a.m. until leaving for the cemetery on Monday in the Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to Grace Hospice of Kansas City, Mo., and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, Fort Scott, KS, 66701.
