An active member of Liberal Christian Church, Lucille played the piano and was presently church organist as well as church correspondent. She loved the church and the Lord, and rarely missed a Sunday. She enjoyed reading her Bible, crocheting, growing beautiful roses and flowers in her garden. Lucille loved her family very much. She was crazy about her nieces and when the great-nieces and nephews came along she was equally excited about them. She loved visiting her neighbors, sending cards and sharing her flowers with people who were sick. She was very much a "people person."
