Mark O. Taylor

Mark O. Taylor, 42, of Independence, died late Wednesday afternoon as a result of a motorcycle accident northwest of Independence.

Funeral services will be held a 11 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Independence. A private family interment will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends can call the Penwell-Gabel Webb & Rodrick Chapel from noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday when the casket will be closed and remain closed. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The family has suggested memorial remembrances to the Taylor Children's Educational Fund and may be left the the funeral home.
