Connie Sue Feagins Flaherty, age 51, a resident of 702 S. Little, died Monday, July 16, 2007, at the Mercy Health Center.
She was born August 12, 1955, in Fort Scott, the daughter of Earl Dean Feagins and Edna Irene Craig Feagins.
She married Larry Flaherty on Jan. 28, 1989, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fort Scott. She was a talented pianist and loved animals. She loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.
Connie is survived by her husband, Larry Flaherty, of the home; her father, Earl Feagins; daughter, Heather DeAntoni; step-daughter, Kristi Flaherty; three step-sons, Aaron, Kevin, and Jonathan Flaherty; sister, Christy Miller; two granddaughters, Kristyn and Taralynne DeAntoni; and two step-grandchildren, Bobby Lee Gibson and Logan Flaherty.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Feagins. Funeral services for Connie will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 20, 2007, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Jayhawk Road. President Ken Tourtillot will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Cheney Witt Chapel.
