Allison Gail Ross and Christopher Charles Confer plan to wed Oct. 13, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church in Arkansas City, Kan.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Rhonda Ross of Topeka, Kansas, and the granddaughter of Wallace and Winona Darling, Fort Scott, and Gail Ross and the late Kenneth Ross, Arkansas City.

The future groom is the son of Keith and Colleen Confer of Independence, Kan., and the grandson of Margaret Confer and the late Charles Confer, Independence, and Robert and Violet Brechbill, also of Independence.

Allison is a graduate of Arkansas City High School (1998), the University of Arizona (2002), and the University of Kansas School of Law (2005). She is employed as an attorney with a law firm in Overland Park, Kan.

Christopher is a graduate of Independence High School (1998), the University of Kansas (2001), and the University of Kansas School of Law (2003). He is also employed as an attorney with a law firm in Overland Park, Kan.
