Frances, born Oct. 2, 1923 had her roots in Redfield, Kan., and is the daughter of Frank and Flora "Babe" Hall. Frances will be laid to rest by her husband's side, Chester Campbell in the Fort Scott National Cemetery.
Frances had been an active member in her community including volunteering at the First United Methodist Church of Birmingham, Mich., and an ardent member of the Republican Women's Party of Michigan. Her lifelong interests are history and researching her family roots.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007, at the Fort Scott National Cemetery. Visitation is from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, and family and friends will leave for the cemetery at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Paint Creek Church of the Brethren or the Mount Orum Baptist Church, and left in care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W.
