Frank and Shirley Hildebrand celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 26 at a family reunion in Eureka Springs, Ark. The event was hosted by their four daughters and spouses, Lori and Joey Matlock, Amber and Curtis Russell, Gina and Dewayne Worthington, Jill and Damon Hall; and eight grandsons and one granddaughter.

The Hildebrands were married in Prescott, Kan., in 1957. Frank retired from the U. S. Army, Frisco Railroad and a teaching career. Shirley was supervisor at Southeast Kansas Multi-County Health Department in Fort Scott for 17 years. After moving to Grove, she was the Certified Diabetes Nurse Educator for Integris Grove Central and Integris Baptist Regional Hospitals for eight years before retiring. She is currently working part-time for Grove Nursing Center. The couple moved to Grove in 1995.
