Splish splash

Members of the Fort Scott Hurricanes swim team jump into the cool water for a practice Thursday morning at the Fort Scott Municipal Pool, which opened to the general public on Monday. The swim team practices for about two months to prepare for their season, which typically consists of about six or seven meets at Fort Scott and surrounding areas.
