Edna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a 75 year member of the Violet Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star at Fulton, a charter member of Delta Kappa Gamma, A.D.K. Sorority, State Retired Teachers, Pierian club, and the Literature Club. She was a member of the Advisory Committee for Blue Cross-Blue Shield Plan 65. Edna is survived by two sisters, Helen Golloday, and Mary Nelle Beth; two nephews, Alec Beth, and Dr. Robert Adams; a niece, Charlene Simpson; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmas; her parents; two sisters, Agnes Adams, and Gladys Mason; and a brother, Charles Mason.
The Rev. Steve MacArthur will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home. Burial will be at the West Liberty Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Edna L. Mason Golladay Endowed Scholarship at Fort Scott Community College, and left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall St., P.O.
