Donna Lee Harrold Fairbanks, age 65, a resident of PIeasanton, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at her home. She was born July 4, 1941, in Mound City, the daughter of Omar Wesley Runyan and Hazel Etta Hinson. She marred John Harrold on September 28,1957. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1987. She later married Ray Fairbanks on June 10,1988. She worked at Western Insurance as an underwriter from 1977 to 1985. She loved spending time with family, watching and feeding birds, doing puzzles, camping, collecting teapots, and her cat. Misty Lou.

She is survived by Ray Fairbanks, of the home; two daughters, Debbie Comstock, Fort Scott, and Cindy Lashley and husband Tom Metcalf, Devon; two sisters, Linda Townsend and husband John, Fort Scott, and Lavon Dixon and husband Jim, Haysville, Kansas; two granddaughters, Amber Comstock, Fort Scott, and Skye Metcalf, Devon; one great-granddaughter, Cadence Hunziker; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Harrold, and three sisters, Maxine Runyan, Evelyn Hamilton Stark, and Evadene Basham.

Funeral services for Donna Harrold Fairbanks will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2007, at the Cheney Witt Chapel, with David Epps officiating. Burial will follow in the Littell Cemetery north of Prescott. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shriners Transportation Fund and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O.
