Mr. and Mrs. Garrold Crays - 1957

Mr. and Mrs. Garrold Crays celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 27, 2007.

Garrold and Iris were married January 27, 1957 at the First United Methodist Church, Fort Scott. Garrold had a 42 year career as a mechanic with Shepherd Team Auto Plaza, retiring in 1998. Iris worked for several years for the Bourbon County Farm Bureau and retired as District Manager after 20 years with the Bourbon County Conservation District.

They have three children, Brent Crays and wife Teri of Fort Scott, Cindy Crays of Pittsburg, and Steven Crays of Overland Park, three grandchildren, Natasha, Courtney and Dustin Crays of Fort Scott, and two great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Lathan Lundberg.

A family celebration was recently held and a family trip to the Branson area is being planned to honor Garrold and Iris' golden anniversary.
