Survivors include a son, D. Neill Wheeler and wife, Linda, Wichita, Kansas and a daughter, Karen Paddock and husband, Larry, Fulton, Kansas. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Richard Wheeler and two sisters, Juanita Studt and Vera Wheeler.
The Rev. Kevin Moyers will conduct funeral services at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, in the Community Christian Church. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the Miltonvale Cemetery in Miltonvale, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorials are suggested to either the Community Christian Church or Show-Me Christian Youth Home and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
