Wilma Woodring Wells, age 86, passed away, November 11, 2006 at her home in Lakewood, Colorado. She was born April 19, 1920 in Richards, Missouri, the daughter of J. T. and Anna L. Hensley Woodring. She grew up in Richards and went to school, graduating with the class of 1938. She married William B. Wells on September 3, 1942 in Lamar, Colorado. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2000. She is survived by two sons, Ron Wells and wife, Judy, Lakewood, Colorado and Larry Wells and wife, Beverly, Arvada, Colorado; a daughter, Judith Ann Jorgenson, Scott City; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma Stancer, Fort Scott, Fern Keele and husband, Earl, Grain Valley, Missouri, Fay Steele and husband, Bob, Fort Scott; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son and daughter, Billy and Babie Wells; a son-in-law, Wayne Jorgenson; and three brothers, Ernest, Everrett and Eldon Woodring. Services were held on November 17, 2006 in the Horan-McConatey Funeral Home in Denver, with burial in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
