Robert was a locomotive engineer for the Frisco Railroad and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He was also a 32 degree Mason and a member of the Fort Scott Scottish Rite Bodies.
He is survived by a son, Mike Warford of Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Jane Warford, Monrovia, Md. and Jill Warford, Fort Scott; three grandchildren, Mary Swearingen, Independence, Leslie George, Merriam, and Olivia Noelle Warford-Grow, Springfield, Mo.; and one niece; Carol Marcano, Kansas City. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary McClain.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2006, at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Reed Hartford. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until funeral time on Sunday.
