WOW MomentsPosted Friday, April 20, 2007, at 10:06 AM
There have been a few WOW moments in my life. Birth. Seeing my wife in her wedding dress. My sister telling on me for cussing when I was 6. Beating Tiger Woods in golf on Playstation 2. Finding a snake in my toilet. These are all life changing events. I had another April 18 at 5:35 p.m.
When I stepped into the new Wal-Mart SUPER DUPER CENTER I had a WOW moment. Well, actually, I almost slipped on the floor because it's so gosh darn slick. But after that I had a moment. It was like life flashed before my eyes and nothing could compare (except that thing about the wife and her wedding dress). Beautiful unscuffed brown floors. Aisles that went in various directions. Food that wasn't prepared out of a plastic bag. Lettuce. I love lettuce. Oh my! Who could ask for more?
I got lost. That's right. Between the milk and the lettuce. Unfortunately I found my way out or I would still be there basking in the glory that I never have to go anywhere else to buy what I need. You got your food, toiletries, organic milk, camera equipment, clothes, automobiles, houses, it's all there!
One problem though. The photo studio. I recommend Captured Images, 118 S. Main St., instead. We'll take care of you. Scout's Honor. 620.223.5375. I'll hook you up.
For those of you who have read my previous posts, you know I have a snake problem. I solved it though.

i worked there you REALLY DON'T want to live there. trust me
In all of my walkings of the new Wal-Mart Supercenter, I've not seen the traditional photo studio, so looks like you don't have to worry about them capturing (no pun intended) any of your imaging business!
Just a one-hour photo and the occasional traveling photo studio.
Kiddie Rides, Haircuts, and eyeglasses galore though.
