Blogger's Log: Wednesday 8:52 p.m.
As I sit here at my computer, thinking of wonderful witty things to say, I find myself thinking that I don't have anything witty to say.
Blogger's Log: Wednesday 8:53 p.m.
Ok, I'm still sitting here. I'm listening to my daughter's TV, which is constantly glued to the Disney Channel, and I'm listening to our living room TV that happens to be on Sci-Fi because Wednesday night is Ghost Hunters night. Mickey and ghosts... what a combo!
I absolutely LOVE Ghost Hunters. I find it to be extremely entertaining. I don't know why. I don't laugh, I don't cry, I don't run screaming for my husband out of fear, yet, it's still entertaining to me. Maybe it's because the two guys that run the "ghost hunting team of experts" work (or previously worked) for Roto Rooter. The way I picture it is they were just regular "Joe Schmoes" who would get up every morning, grab theirs toolboxes, jump in their trucks and run to rescue someone in a toilet emergency. While they were rescuing the poor "plumbing-fumbled" person, they would just happen to start chatting about ghosts. I wonder if they ever ran into a ghost sitting on the toilet they were fixing? How cool would that be! Well.... cool isn't really the proper word.... odd would be more appropriate. Odd for the spirit, odd for the Roto Rooter plumbers, odd for the person who lived in the house (the living person that is) and well, just.... odd. You know what else is odd?
The dumb peanuts that go LOOKING for ghosts, then run like mad when they see one. It's really quite funny......

Don't ask me why I keep putting "Blogger's Log" everywhere. I couldn't give you an answer. Sounds very "Star Trekkie" though, doesn't it?
I must close my blog for now. I have a sick baby girl (she's 10) with a massive head cold and she needs momma's attention (and lots of Robitussin).
I hope everyone has a very happy and safe holiday season..... Remember, don't drink and drive and watch for flying reindeer... those little boogers tend to leave a horrid stain on the cars if you get my drift! |
